Call Your Sister
Our assignment for the Georgia runoff election is clear, and it's affirmed by our own organizing priorities and the priorities of our core Black women and women of color partners in Georgia – we need to get more white women to vote for Warnock.
Over the next few weeks, we’re reaching out directly to white women — many of whom weren’t targeted before the midterms — to make sure they have the facts.
Women’s March is partnering with our friends at New South Super PAC to crank up the dialer for PHONE BANKS DECEMBER 1ST & 4TH to help us Call our Sisters and GOTV. Sign up for additional dates here: PHONE BANKS NOVEMBER 28th & 30th.
Black and Latinx Georgia voters of all genders voted overwhelmingly for both Abrams and for Warnock - but Herschel Walker received 68% of the vote of white women. Even if communities of color turnout at the same levels as the general, in order for Warnock to win, we will need more white women votes for him.
Data and experts consistently show us that 1:1 conversations with voters are the best way to get folks to the polls. And Georgia residents and organizers can tell you that we do not need more texts. We need calls and canvassers. So suit up with us! We’ll provide training + real-time support, and we’ve got evening and weekend phone banking shifts.
We know what is at stake. A majority in the Senate will allow us to confirm more federal judicial nominees for the 88 vacancies and advance progressive legislation with or without fair weather ‘friends’ Sinema and Manchin.
Let’s talk to our sisters in Georgia and secure a win for Senator Warnock on December 6th.
